We have been empowered by the metaphors associated with the Goddess Oya this past month. Reciting what we want to change is one thing; taking responsibility for making these decisions happen is another. Change is work. We can no longer procrastinate what is needed to be done – we MUST do it.
Let’s assemble the concepts of feng-shui to help accomplish our personal goals. Feng is wind; which is an analogy for health, and shui is water; or wealth of body/mind and spirit. Ch’I is energy. How do you best create the flow in your home or office with feng-shui concepts for this next step of accomplishing your goals?

T
he entire southern quadrant of the feng-shui bagua (see map) is dedicated to attributes of Goddess Maeve. What or Who do you want to be? The Southwest (or marriage/relationship area) comes to mind first, as it is the area associated with our inner organs. Maeve’s personal chakra symbol is the solar plexis. This relates to our powerful GUT feelings. What FEELS good and right? Use empathy with yourself and others. Stay sensitive to the details and visuals that we see before us that make us feel happy and directed.
Peach scents and symbols (paint the room peach or at least a wall!) directly relate to new romance and love. Maeve was said to be intoxicating and often gave her lovers a red drink to seduce them. Do wine and romance come to mind? Put romantic pictures and flowers in the southwest area to enhance these ideas.
The wealth section (SE) is represented by the SUN (Maeve’s chakra color) the colors purple/green and gold., and the symbol of water– which are also associated with Maeve. This area of your home is about self-esteem and empowerment. (personal wealth) Use these colors in paintings, plants, pillows or furniture to remind us EVERYDAY exactly what we are working on.

We covered the Fame section (South) last month with the Goddess Oya and her amazing transforming powers……Keep your eye on all of these areas this month to stay focused on the flow that is needed to stay on the road to your goals. Maeve takes the BULL by the horns and helps is continue the fight for a better SELF. Start your new life today!
