GO-ya!
When lightening strikes and change is the only force that keeps us alive; we call on the qualities within us represented by the Goddess Oya.
Oya is the warrior of truth and looking in the mirror to really examine the true changes we need to make. The “eye” is key in the

fame area. Simply, this is the area of your space/house (fame = the south corner of your space) that is associated with Goddess Oya.
We don’t always gravitate to making these changes for ourselves; as life is busy and often we put ourselves at the bottom of our own list.
Feng-shui is a simple technique for instant visual change in our home and work environments. Feng is wind; which is an analogy for health, and shui means water – which is another way of saying wealth of BODY, MIND and SPIRIT. Ch’I is energy. Our goals are to rearrange our homes or offices for maximum energy flow. Goddess Oya reminds us that our Intuition is a major part of this process: what FEELS good to you?A map (or bagua) (see above) guides us in the proper directions to examine what we need to “see” to repair and improve any and all aspects of our lives. Each area is given a color coordinating with an earth element and “life” section to address and examine.
Oya is represented by the reds/purples/blacks/browns and coppers. The “fame” area (south) on the bagua map also uses the reds and
purples to symbolize fire. (passion). This section is designed to represent “what we want to be,” our aspirations: our future self. The
black/browns and coppers indicate healthy honor; or self esteem.
The Oya in us would use accessories and accents of the fire colors in this area (pillows/fabrics/vases etc.) to remind our subconscious every time we look at it that we ARE famous and aspiring to be strong, and ALL things OYA! Peacock images are also great visual reminders of our personal “fame.”The Oya in you is the energy to begin anew…….start your new life today!
