Maeve – Goddess of Responsibility

Maeve – “you must become accountable for all that you do, all that you are, and all that you believe.”
 
“The Goddess Maeve tells you that “if it is to be…it is up to you”.
 
It has always been up to you to be who you are; not your partner, your mother, your father, your children, or anyone else, just you. It’s time to take a look at this responsibility to ourselves. 
 
There couldn’t be a better fitting goddess to represent the responsibility we have to our own thoughts and feelings – personal vibration. No one else vibrates, feels, acts, or thinks for us. We are in charge of that whether you know or believe this to be true. No one else lives in our minds. We are responsible for what and who we are.
 
In order to understand what you are attracting and creating in your life, you must first understand your personal vibration and the Law of Attraction. Law of Attraction is that which is likened to itself is drawn. Like attracts like. Vibrations are energy.
 
We are all energy. We vibrate at certain frequencies – we attract the SAME vibrations that we are sending out in the form of emotions and feelings. So if we are in the feeling of love and appreciation, we are attracting love and appreciation. If we are overwhelmed or frustrated, or in hate with something, we attract the overwhelment, frustration, and hate in return.
 
Emotions – what are they? Your emotions are indicators of your vibrational frequency. We are all born with a personal guidance system built in – it’s our emotions. We can always tell where our point of attraction is by our emotions. Simply put: Good feels good, and bad feels bad. If a thought feels good, go with it. Expand on it. Let the feeling grow. Remember, it’s vibrating and attracting more feelings/thoughts like it. Law of Attraction – attracting same frequencies and vibrations. How a thought feels is the point of attraction. Did you know that it takes about 17 seconds of focusing on the same thought for Law of Attraction to bring you another similar thought?
 
There are many levels of emotions. When we stop and pay attention to the thoughts and feelings that are generating in us, we can then either expand on them or change them. This is the personal responsibility that the Goddess Maeve speaks to. Pay attention. You have the ultimate decision on how you feel. And you can change your life and attract the things you desire by paying attention to your thoughts and feelings. Do your thoughts allow good feelings or do they resist them?
 
Something that has been of tremendous help to myself and others is having a scale of the different emotions that can be experienced. This scale was authored by Abraham-Hicks and speaks to the different levels of feelings and emotions one can experience. From the depths of despair to the highest emotion of all that is joy and love, we are somewhere on this scale on a daily basis. When we identify our emotions, we are then able to move up the scale to better feelings by reaching for a better thought. It’s the process of reaching for any thought that might make you feel better in the moment. Does the new thought give you relief from where you were? If not, is there another thought that feels slightly better? We move is small increments. You cannot feel love and joy if you are in worry and doubt as the span is too great between those vibrational frequencies. Let’s take a look at the different levels:

This scale gives you an awareness of where you are and where you want to go. You may be in the range of anger, worry, and disappointment but you are closer and have access to the vibrational range of frustration and irritation which is higher on the scale. This scale gives you an understanding of where you would like to go.
 
There are really only 2 emotions – one feels good and one feels bad. Anger may feel better than despair. Frustration may feel better than doubt. Hopefulness may feel better than boredom. Any small feeling movement up the scale is a success but it takes personal responsibility and desire to make the moves you desire.
 
Play with this new thinking. Reach for a slightly better thought. Take responsibility for your thoughts and emotions. More next month.
